Terms of Use

Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the website and services of Cases AS. By using the website, you accept these terms.

About the service

Cases AS operates an editorial website featuring articles, profiles, and reviews within food and wine. We also offer subscription services and other digital services. The content is for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice.

User accounts

To access certain services, you must create a user account. You are responsible for keeping your login information confidential. We reserve the right to close accounts that are misused or that breach these terms.

Purchases and payment

Payment is made via Stripe or Vipps. Prices are stated in Norwegian kroner (NOK) including VAT (25%) unless otherwise specified.

Subscription

Subscription types and minimum term

Cases AS offers subscriptions with monthly or annual billing. There is no minimum commitment period — the subscription can be cancelled at any time and will run until the end of the current billing period.

Automatic renewal and billing date

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual). The amount is charged on the date the subscription period renews, that is, on the same date as the original sign-up date each month or each year. You will receive a payment confirmation by email for each charge.

Cancellation and termination

You can cancel your subscription at any time via your user account under "Subscription," or by contacting us at hello@caseswine.com. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to the content until the end of the period you have already paid for. No refunds are given for partially used periods unless otherwise required by the right of withdrawal rules below.

Prices and price changes

Current subscription prices are listed on the website. In the event of any price changes, you will be notified by email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date is considered acceptance of the new price.

Right of withdrawal

When purchasing digital content, you confirm that the content is made available immediately, and that the right of withdrawal lapses from that point, cf. section 22 b of the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act (angrerettloven). For physical goods, a 14-day right of withdrawal applies from the date of receipt.

Intellectual property rights

All editorial content, photographs, illustrations, and design on the website belong to Cases AS or our partners, and are protected by the Norwegian Copyright Act (åndsverkloven). Content may not be reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without written consent.

Investment activities and conflicts of interest

Cases AS engages in investment activities and may hold ownership interests in companies, products, or brands featured on the website. Where such affiliations exist, this will be clearly disclosed in the relevant article. Content from Cases AS is not to be regarded as financial advice.

Limitation of liability

Cases AS is not liable for any errors, deficiencies, or interruptions in the service, or for losses resulting from the use of information published on the website. We reserve the right to modify, temporarily suspend, or permanently discontinue the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Any disputes shall be sought resolved amicably. The agreed legal venue is Oslo District Court (Oslo tingrett).
