Restaurant Schrøder is not the place you go for the wine list. It is the place you go for everything else. Red leather sofas, the legendary "green sweater" and an atmosphere that feels as though it has stood still since the 1970s. The flesk og duppe tastes exactly as good as you hope, and the waiters are seasoned, experienced and just the right amount of blunt. When one of them places a shot of aquavit in front of you simply because you looked like you needed it you understand exactly what kind of place this is. The working class bistro, full of life, stories in the walls and absolutely no need to be anything other than itself.
