Cabana Las Lilas

My first visit to Cabana las Lilas in 2007 is one I will never forget. And since then, no restaurant in the world has ever topped that beef experience.

Located in Buenos Aires' harbour district Puerto Madero, the estate was established as a ranch in 1912 by Alfredo Hirsch, who specialised in the Angus and Hereford cattle breeds. In 1995, the now legendary steakhouse of the same name opened its doors.

Here, beef in all its forms reigns supreme, whether you are seated inside the vast and rustic dining room or outside beneath their heavy canopies. The wine list excels in Argentine wines, and the menu is unapologetically Argentine to its core.

Their beef, their soufflé potatoes, and not least the service and atmosphere make this one of the world's finest steakhouses. An absolute must for lunch or dinner when visiting Buenos Aires.
